I am a student and work weekends. I have been working at the same company for almost four years, and wanted to be promoted, as it will look good on my CV. I wanted to be promoted to supervisor. The two supervisors that we had found better jobs and resigned. I got promoted to supervisor. I started to work full time during December last year.

At campus, I wanted a specific post in my department, of which both posts were occupied. BOTH the positions were resigned from as the persons involved chose different paths. I applied for the post in December last year. I then wanted a Managerial post at my part time job so that it would also look good on my CV, as I knew I would be leaving soon to work at campus. I did not ask anyone at work for this position. My manager got promoted and the director of the company sat me down and offered me a Managerial post!!!

I worked as a Manager, and I got called to say that my campus job had come through!!! Then I resigned as Manager, as I wanted this only for the experience.

I am posting this story from my office at campus at which I now have my perfect job…
