My chiropractor lent me the audio CD’s of The Secret, and I found them wonderful.
I mentioned them to a new friend, and she said she had the movie and I could borrow it.
I watched it on Monday, May 14th. I saw Michael Beckwith and he spoke to me. I had heard him in the CD’s, but in the movie, he spoke to my soul. I turned to my friend and told him that I was going to meet Rev. Beckwith. He asked “How?”. I said I didn’t know, but I was going to meet him. Two days later, I met a marvelous woman at the chiropractor’s whom I wanted to get to know better. Two days after that, the marvelous woman told me that she was singing for The Awakening Conference May 18th and 20th. She showed me a flyer, and guess who was on that flyer? Michael Beckwith! He was holding a special talk on the Thursday before the Conference!! I began to jump up and down with glee! 6 days away!
Then I thought that I would not be able to pay for the seminar. I said that I would sit in the lobby and hope to hear something. My chiropractor said “You won’t have to do that.”
(Funny thing is, he doesn’t remember saying that.)
After work on that particular Thursday, I wondered what to do. Should I drive home because I wouldn’t be able to get a ticket? NO! I told myself! This would be life-changing! Just going there was important. So I went. I sat in the lobby, and at one point I almost began to cry – “I want to be in that room!” I thought. A very nice vendor asked me why I wasn’t in there. I blurted out “I am waiting for my friend.” I found a chair near the door, and strained to hear what was going on in the room. Another vendor began talking to me, and suddenly I looked up. Who was there, but that marvelous woman!?! I knew that she had another performance that night, and did not expect to see her at all! She asked me why I wasn’t in the room – I started to say I couldn’t get a ticket, and she firmly told me to come in with her. Since she was a performer at this conference, she could do that!
What a marvelous evening it was! Ricky was absolutely fabulous, and Rev. Beckwith answered so many of my questions and gave me new insight into realms of possibilities!
The room – oh that room full of people! Wonderful, glorious people! And I had learned important things from those nice vendors who talked with me, too!
After his seminar, Rev. Beckwith met those who stayed to thank him. Guess who stayed?
ME!
I told him my story in brief – 11 days. It only took 11 days from the time I watched The Secret and ‘knew’ I would meet him to the time that I met him!!
I have been almost giddy since then. There have been so many ideas and ‘Ah-Ha’ moments in the past 2 days! I am smiling! What a perfectly wonderful place we are in!
