I have known about, and used the Law of Attraction in my own life for many years – but often with mixed results due to my extremely negative attitude towards everything in my life. While some things went beautifully, others went horribly wrong – all because of my deep set belief that this is the way it was for me – and the universe delivered disaster each and every time without fail.

I had seen The Secret for at least a year, but had always been too busy or distracted to pick the book up and read it properly. So time went by, and I decided to move: to leave Australia, travel, and settle in Scotland. Things hadn’t been going all that well for me since I moved, and even though I had a job I was depressed all the time and could not figure out what I wanted to do, or how, and was very confused and lonely.

Around this time, I started to spend a lot of my time in bookshops. which is where I first came across The Power. I would pick it up, read a few quotes, and then replay them over in my mind during the day, wondering if I could apply the principles to my life. This was when I came across The Secret – and started to get a feeling I should be reading this book. I wanted to buy myself a copy but didn’t really have the cash, so instead I would wistfully think about it. One day I decided to seek the book out and have a look inside it – but when I went to the bookstore I couldn’t find it – so I simply put it out of my mind and went home. One morning, about to go the library, on a whim, I decided to check the online catalogue to see if The Secret was available – and it was – at another branch. Again, I put it out of my mind, and off I went.

When I got there, I got a sudden feeling to head to the Self-help section, even though it was a fiction book I was after, and on the spur of the moment I walked to the nearest shelf- – and there directly in front of me – was The Secret! The book had found me! I borrowed it – and from that day on my life has changed. I am no longer negative, I am thankful each and every day, and no longer have those feelings of depression. I have met the love of my life – and while not physically together yet – I believe I have received him in my life and send him lots of love, peace, and joy on a daily basis.

I have also figured out what it is I want to do with my life,and have created my vision boards believing I have received everything I have placed on it. I receive happiness, joy, and love on a daily basis, and send all these to everybody that I meet every day.

This has truly changed my life, and for this I am grateful every single day.
