In March of 2009 I was introduced to The Secret and watched the movie. I immediately decided to apply it and see if it was really working. And the result was amazing.
Back then I was making a lot of music as a composer and to make music for my living was my dream. But I had a lot of things to do before that, like finding artists for my songs… and I was still at school.

The person who was inspiring me the most was an American producer called Ryan Leslie. So I decided to imagine and feel myself working with him in the studio everyday. A few days later I received an SMS from my friend telling that Ryan Leslie was running a contest for ‘The best video showing yourself creating a song”. The price was a day with him in the studio in New York.

So of course I created the video with one of my best friend and sent the submission. At that time I didn’t know this video would change everything.

I didn’t win but Ryan Leslie chose me in the top 5 finalists, being the only French participant and having more than 30.000 views on my video. A few weeks later, someone contacted me on facebook telling me that her fiancé was an American artist and was interested in working with me. I got in touch with him and after a few hours of work on Skype, we both felt a unique connection and decided to form a band together.

From there everything happened so quickly; from all the hours of work on Skype, to our first showcase in Paris, to being signed by a French label right before Christmas.

As I am telling you this story our mix-tape and album will be released this year and so many great things are about to happen. I keep reminding myself on the moment I saw that text on my cell phone and that I had no idea of what was about to happen to me.

I had to stop school, music is now my living, I found the best artist I could have found to work with, who has became a brother to me, and the promotional company that our label wants to use for America is, of course, Ryan Leslie’s label…

The law of attraction is amazing. I try to bring more and more friends into it.
The Secret really works and changed a lot of things in my life.
