Somehow since I was a kid, I’ve always known that whatever I wanted I could have!! When I was a senior in high school in 2002, my dream car was a black on black 2002 honda accord coupe, with tinted windows and a sun roof top!! I used to tell my mom all the time that I was going to have that car. It was MINE!!!

I grew up in a single parent home, although my dad was there financially, emotionally and physically, he was definitely not the type of dad that would buy me my dream car, even though he could afford it!! So to depend on him to make my dream come true was out of the question.
I used to tell myself all the time that I was going to have that car! I didn’t know when, how or where, but I claimed it and waited.

The summer of 2005 my boyfriend and I were out on a double date with a couple of friends, when we stepped out of the bar to have a smoke, and parked right out front where we were standing, was my dream car! I looked at our friends and said, ‘That’s my dream car, I am going to have that car one day”! My guy friend, instantly looked at me and said how he and his wife loved that car too, and that they test drove one at a dealership right up the road. They didn’t buy it, because they couldn’t afford it at the time, and at that moment I knew, that the reason they couldn’t get it, is because it belonged to ME!!!

The next day I asked my boyfriend if we could just go look at the car and test drive it. He agreed, because he knew how much I loved it!! When we got to the dealership, I looked at the car and it was everything that I had envisioned; all black, with black leather interior, sun roof top, tinted windows and was a coupe!!! I was in disbelief! I couldn’t believe that it was actually there! I test drove it, and when I went to take it back, the dealership filled it with gas and told me I could keep it for TWO DAYS!!!

My boyfriend got the car for me with no down payment and a low monthly rate!! I have you guys know I used that car until I graduated from college!! Unfortunately we had to let it go back, when I got pregnant with out daughter, because we could no longer afford two car payments. It hurt a little, but not a lot, because I am now focused on my dream – Tahoe, and I envision receiving a black on black Range Rover after that!!! I didn’t read The Secret until the spring of 2007, and I knew immediately that I had attracted my Honda!! I’m also waiting on the universe to send me this new job that I was interviewed for last week really soon!! I know I have it, just waiting for the call!!! And I know that’s how I’m going to afford to get the Tahoe!:-)
