How I Intended The Magic.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you Rhonda Byrne for sharing this wonderful secret with the world! I am indebted to you and your fantastic Team!!!
When I first saw you on Oprah back in 2006, I bought the book and read it and kinda-sorta practiced The Secret. I had a lot going on in my life, and I truly wasn’t really focused back then.
Fast forward to 2014 with a new baby and still have a lot going on, working in insurance without a fixed salary and up to my eyeballs with bills! And because I’m new to the Insurance industry, I got a lot of cancellations when trying to close sales. In one week I got three cancellations and thought something’s not right here. I’ve got to do something fast!
So I went looking for my copy of The Secret to read again and began practicing LOA. However, with a new baby and some financial stress, I’ve been struggling with my good frequency, but I am still making a concerted effort to be on the frequency of feeling good all the time.
So last Friday I intended to buy The Magic even though I only had $163 in my account. I thought to myself with a 10% discount card for the bookstore I was going to, I will be able to get myself a copy of The Magic together with a journal to put all the things I am grateful for in one place.
When I arrived in the bookstore, I asked the sales clerk if they had The Magic and she took me to where it was.
And guess what?
It was the only copy (paperback) available and I noticed that it was only $96 and then as if on cue, the clerk told me that I can get a 20% discount! I said “Really, but why?” She said that the bookstore was giving a 20% as it was Mother’s Day weekend! So I not only got The Magic with a 20% discount, but I also got 20% discount on the journal that was $37! In all I only paid $105!
It must be noted that the night before, I intended how the next day must unfold. I had to first visit a client who was in the same vicinity as the bookstore, so after visiting the client I headed straight to the bookstore!
I also manifested other things like groceries. The story of which had me swollen with gratitude. Every day I am grateful for the wonderful job that I have, because the time is truly so flexible for me and I don’t have to be hurrying every morning to get to work. And then one fine day in last month, on my way to work I was just thanking the Universe/God for my job, my wonderful understanding boss etc.
I must mentioned that I did not received a salary since January to March, 2014. Anyways, when I arrived at work my boss called me in his office to discuss something small. I thought it was going to be another pep talk about making sales, so I stayed positive and upbeat. Then he told me that quarterly each year, he and the Branch Manager usually give charity to three families. Keep in mind, he knows I haven’t been receiving any salary. So he chose me as one of the family and asked me to make a list of grocery items I use daily. He said that he will try to get everything on my list.
That afternoon, my boss delivered $800 worth of groceries to my home!!! He told me he got everything on the list for me, except pineapple jam! But did you think I was upset about that?! Only thank yous were coming out from my mouth!
So thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am practicing The Magic now and I am so happy! It feels amazing to truly practice gratitude 24/7 and send out good frequency, even when someone is mean or did something wrong.
