How I Got My PS4.
The title says it all. I wished for a PS4 PlayStation on one of the the days when I saw a promo. I had a PS2 and the PS3 was not really a great deal for me. The PS4 was the one I wanted, and I wanted it badly. The year was 2014 and it was around October. At first, I did not think it would happen because of all the expenses my parents had to take care of, given we were buying a new car. But I tried as much as I could not to waver my faith.
Occasionally, I would take a look at games and feel grateful, as though I was playing them. I made a vision board, with a picture of a DualShock 4 controller in a hand and imagined that it was in my hand. Like in the book, I looked at the little details on my hand and closed my eyes to visualize and feel grateful.
Nearly a year had gone by and I had started to give up. But then, somehow when I went to watch TV one day, The Secret book was on the couch. So I tried again and kept believing. Eventually I let it go and let the Universe work it’s magic.
Then on the 22nd of October, on my birthday, out of nowhere my dad gifts it to me. How awesome is that?!? I felt so amazing walking out of that shop with my PS4 in my hand. It was a feeling I will never forget.
The message is one you all know, keep believing, no matter how hard it gets. Always be grateful. In fact, be obsessively grateful because it is a way of life. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all reading. I believe in you, I believe you can achieve whatever you want.
Lots of love.
