I’m 24 years old and only recently started reading The Secret. What I’m about to share with you happened when I was 17 but now that I think about it, I was unconsciously applying it.

I always wanted to do good in school. To get high grades and then get into my dream college. But my confidence level was very low. I would say that my grades were always just around above average. I always believed I could do much better.

I had to take 8 entrance exams. I had finished taking 7 of them and I felt that none of them went well. There was 1 left. I was really dejected. My mom encouraged me to believe in myself and not to give up. Every day leading up to the exam, she would come and tell me that this was the one. She’d tell me that she could somehow feel that I would do well on the last exam. I started believing in that. I worked hard. I even looked up images on Google of my dream college, the one I would get into if I got good results on this last exam. I started imagining that I was walking along the college corridors and working out in the college gym.

I studied until the last minute and I got the score immediately after the online exam. Now I had to apply to the college and wait. Based on previous years’ scores, there was a good chance that I was going to get it but nothing was sure. All I had to do now was wait. And here’s the biggest miracle of my life. My score increased by 4 due to some error in the exam. My final score was 77. And the cutoff score for my dream college was 75. The Universe listened to me and answered!
