When I first start travelling it was probably the most crazy decision in my life. I went to Australia by myself with no proper stuff and not much money in my pocket.

The first three months in Sydney were the hardest in my life. I couldn’t find any job and I had to go to English school every day for the first two months. I had no chance to look for a job and make money for at least bus tickets.

Then I met a Czech women who helped me to find a cleaning job for night after school. That way I was able to pay rent and for some food. After one month they closed this gym where I was cleaning and I was with out a job again.

Our flat had 6 people in it. One day my flatmate flew back to America and another flatmate came to live with me in my little bedroom full of cockroaches and the uncleanable mess and dust.

She and her best friend were probably more desperate than me. They couldn’t find any job either, had no money for food and one of them was living in a car. We were sharing everything to survive. I had a few weeks before paying my school fee to keep my visa in Australia and I had no idea what to do.

One day when I was watching TV and thinking what to do with myself, my flatmates came to me and told me about The Secret. Their story was too crazy to believe, but I was listening. They said they heart about The Secret from our friends and we wanted to see this movie so badly for a week. Today we were walking on the street and thinking about it. One strange guy walked out from a video shop and looked at us. He said “Girls, I bought a video called The Secret and I got another one for free, do you want it”?

It’s hard to believe something like that, but it worked. After when we all watched this video, things started to change. They found jobs and were able to fly home to see one of her sick uncles. I got an idea how to make money. I started handing out leaflets to family houses and found so many cleaning jobs that I was able to pay my school fee, go back to Czech republic for holiday and come back to Australia.

Since then I went threw many struggling situations like this and I am always able to solve them in an easy way.

How?

I always think positive and know it will be OK.
