How I Attracted My Dream Job.
I would like to begin by thanking Rhonda and the team for introducing The Secret to the world.
I was working as an Assistant Chemist when I was newly graduated. After working for almost two months, I found that I did not really love my job because I was not really interested in doing lab related work every day.
Then I decided to start looking for different type of job were I could spend my time in an office and be free to think and work on new projects. I wanted to attract a job in a particular university. I really wanted that kind of job and decided to apply the law of attraction as explained in The Secret book.
I started to write on a daily basis about my dream job. In my journal I wrote ‘I am thankful for working at (the university)’, 10 times without fail. Every day when I woke up and before sleep, I imagined myself working at that university. I touched and felt my own desk and laptop. I even imagined that I had my own work room. I started to look for jobs online that were available at that particular university. At first I found nothing but from the second week onward the available jobs appeared, one by one. I applied to every job but ended up with a negative outcome. Whenever I felt like I wanted to give up, I read all the stories written on The Secret website and they kept me going.
One day, I received a call for an interview from the same university that I applied for. I was super excited and went to the interview well prepared. There were 10 more candidates waiting outside the interview room. When it came to my turn, I went inside the room and answered every question confidently. By that time I was very sure that I would be selected.
The next day, I received the good news that I was selected for that job. I was very happy and thanked the Universe for bringing my dream job to me. I joined the work one month later, and the person in charged showed my work place. To my surprise, it looked exactly as I had imagined. I had my own room and the desk and the computer were just as I had imagined.
Thank you once again to The Secret team and for those who shared your experience here. It really kept me going whenever I was down.
