I’m a 17 year old girl who heard about The Secret through my mother last year. Since I heard of it, I’ve been very attached to the books and all the amazing things they have for us.

Recently, I started reading The Magic and I decided to start the the 28 days of magical practices for gratitude. Unfortunately I haven’t done any other practice after the first one due to reasons beyond my control.

But that single practice I made that night totally changed me.

I started being more grateful for everything and not complaining about things or taking them for granted, only by writing on a paper 10 things I was grateful for. But that occurred on the same time an ice rink opened in town.

Figure skating has always been a passion for me but I never really had a chance to try it. Everyone told me that it was impossible for me to learn any kind of figure skating moves without a coach and only in the one single month that the rink was staying in town.

But with The Secret and The Magic I told myself it was possible and right now, three weeks after that and nine times that I skated on ice, I did teach myself figure skating moves only because of the power of gratitude!

That is something I will never forget! How such a small act of gratitude made me do so much!
