I had watched the DVD again and again, then invested in The Secret Book, which I shared with with everyone I knew. Throughout the book I decided to put the Law of Attraction to the test. As I drove each day (part of my job as a travelling salesperson), I decided I wanted to see a Hot Pink VW motor car – preferably a new one! As I put this intention out there, a little voice inside of me said, ‘As if you are going to see a VW, let alone a hot pink VW’ as there are few VWs even on the road these days!

I shared my story that evening with my Mum and as I was telling her my intention realised I would definitely block seeing a hot pink VW due to my ‘beliefs’.

My mother had no such hesitation: two days later she phoned me excited to tell me she had seen my ‘hot pink VW’, and it was a brand new one! After her confirmation that a hot pink VW actually existed – I then put out my intention again, this time actually believing that I would see it.

Several days later as I was travelling from Gold Coast to Brisbane on the main highway, a fabulous, Hot Pink, new VW passed me!

I have continued to play these little games of expecting to see something in particular – or a particular person etc. – and each time I set my intention, then let it go, it comes to pass!
