Firstly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Rhonda Byrne and her team for presenting to us a life changing truth, The Secret. It is an extraordinary book that has positively impacted my life in ways I could never have imagined. I am also very thankful to my girl, who introduced me to this amazing book. At first, I was skeptical and didn’t believe in it. But after going through the book, I realized that my negative thoughts were attracting all the unexpected miseries in my life. That’s when I decided to give The Secret a try and use it to uplift my life.

Recently, my brother was recruited by a company, and we needed him to have the job as my dad had lost his job and was currently at home. His job would mean a swim back to shore from all our financial problems. However, he had to clear an entrance test to start working there. Unfortunately, he couldn’t clear it on his first attempt. I couldn’t take the test for him, but I knew I could manifest it for him.

The day before his second attempt, I set out to manifest it for him. I started my day with gratitude and thanked the Universe for all the gifts I had received. I reminded myself of my girl’s words, “When you truly desire to have something, the Universe sets itself to bring it to you.” I had contradictory thoughts popping up every now and then, but I remembered what I had read in The Secret, that each positive thought we possess has a frequency 100 times that of a negative thought. So, I made myself believe that my brother already had the job and started being grateful for it.

I took a piece of paper and wrote, “I am grateful that my brother is working in the company he wished for.” I read it as many times as I could and thanked every single person in his life who made it possible for him. I thanked God, our parents, his school teachers, his friends, his lecturers, his college, the company, the recruiters, and everyone else I could think of. Most importantly, I thanked Rhonda Byrne and her team and my girl, without whom it would have remained a mere dream.

The next morning, which was the day of his second attempt, I woke up with a positive attitude. I visualized my brother calling me on my cell phone and telling me that he got the job. I imagined him walking into the office, meeting his colleagues, and doing his job with confidence. I visualized him succeeding in his test and getting the job. I believed it with all my heart. And there it was, the call came. He had done it. He had cleared the test and got the job. I was astonished and filled with tears of joy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am grateful to Rhonda Byrne, her team, and my girl. Gratitude with visualization really does work; you just need to believe in it. The Secret has taught me that our thoughts and emotions create our reality. If we focus on the positive and believe in ourselves and our dreams, the Universe will conspire to make it happen. I will forever be grateful to Rhonda Byrne and her team for bringing this wonderful book into my life.
