In 2009 I was turned on to the Secret. After being divorced for 5 years, I felt ready for a real relationship. I made my visualization board and listed all the qualities I wanted in my perfect mate. The one man I thought could have been the one, didnt meet all 27 qualities. But I figured, you cant be greedy. And I should be happy if he met half!
A few months later he did a disappearing act on me. I was devastated and thought I could “manifest” him back into my life. A month later, I was diagnosed with Cancer. My focus rapidly became my health, so I re-worked my board. But didnt take down the qualities.
After my chemo treatments and surgery, I felt very blessed and extremely grateful, that they got all the cancer, and it wasnt as bad as they originally thought it was. The cancer lacked the aggressive/invasive nature they thought they saw. I was trying to get my life back to normal and I thought I was ready to start dating again. I was contacted by a guy on a dating site I was using and we spoke for awhile, but then he flaked and I told him what I thought and we wished each other well and went on our separate ways. I decided I was done with dating, didnt have time for the aggravation and took my profile down.
I went on to complete radiation and get back to work full time. My hair was growing back enough that I didnt have to wear a wig any more and I got extensions. I regained my confidence to date again. So I put my profile back up on the same site. Within 3 days the same guy from before contacted me again.
He said he loved my new pics and that he was humbled. He said he would like a second chance. After thinking about it for a day, I decided that if he took a chance, so could I.
We went out a week later. And I was sitting there on our first date AMAZED! I couldnt find a thing wrong with him! I thought OMG! He’s perfect. He’s my list! When I got home, I went straight to my board and reviewed my list. He met all 27 qualities I was looking for!! I cant believe that my perfect guy almost got away. But everything happens for a reason. The Secret works… the Universe manifests what you need, when you need it. You may have forgot what you “ordered” but it doesnt! Thank you!
Me and Mr. Wonderful are talking about our future together. I BELIEVE he will pop the question on my birthday! Im acting as the Secret says and planning our dream wedding!
