He Got The Job Of His Dreams.

My boyfriend and I graduated together but neither of us had an idea of where we would go next. We were accustomed to the system of finishing one step and the next step was guaranteed. This time we had no guarantee. He got an internship and was offered a job but he felt that it wasn’t the right fit for him so he took another job where he worked for no pay. I joined another school to study software engineering.

I can’t remember how I started reading The Secret, I just remember I was hooked on it and I knew that everything I read was true. I had used the law of attraction without knowing it already! I obviously shared my findings.

Then the job my boyfriend had taken without pay closed down. Now he was back to doing nothing, but we still had The Secret. He applied for a job that he really wanted. Every day I reminded him to be grateful for what he already had. Sometimes when I’d walk to the bus station, I’d imagine him already working there and I’d get so happy tears would come to my eyes.

His friends got him another job offer but it wasn’t what he wanted. It was a hard thing to do to turn down something solid and sure for something he had only faith he would get. Even his friends told him to take the offered job but he turned it down.

He signed his contract this week for the job of his dreams. It was a very long wait for someone who had no idea where his life would head to next, for someone who had applied to only 3 companies that he really wanted to work for. By the way, because of gratitude, he got 2 offers out of the 3.
