Have Faith (believe) And Don’t Ask How

Texarkana, TXA 51 year old, single dad. Truly thankful and loving my life, thanks to God and The Secret!
In October of 2012, I had just gotten out of the great relationship that I did not want to end and was questioning on a daily basis what happened. I was left without any steady full time income, no vehicle, no phone access and no home. In addition, I had my 17 year old daughter with me. I got on my knees and prayed for God to please provide my daughter and I some relief and a path for food, shelter and transportation.
I had a great friend loan me a car to get around. It had an advertisement on the back of the vehicle for a nutritional company distributorship, which I had worked for the past 11 months. This was paying me some part time income, yet not enough to support my daughter and me.
On one day, we put our coins together and got two small $1 hamburgers at a nearby fast food establishment. Another friend allowed us to stay at his home temporarily until we got on our feet. Nothing was in the foreseeable future though and I felt myself entering a light state of depression.
I had watched The Secret about 4 years ago, yet never finished it fully. And to be honest, I don’t think I was truly open to it at the time. In mid-October 2012, I found myself with an advertisement on TV to watch The Secret through NetFlix. It came with a one month free trial subscription, which was good because I didn’t even have the very few dollars to sign up for the subscription for even one month at the time.
I watched it 6 times in 2 weeks. On Halloween night, something just “told” me to go to our church for a kids’ festival, even though I had no small children there. As soon as I parked my borrowed vehicle, I immediately received a phone call, asking about my product from the back of my car. I had gotten enough money to get a month to month cell phone.
One of the greatest lessons I learned from The Secret and the emails I signed up to receive, is to not ask HOW, or it will not work. Just trust and believe. I took that to heart. I learned to just be thankful for what I have and also thankful for the things that I desire to have in my life, even if they aren’t in my life yet.
The call that I got asking about my nutritional product, 2 weeks later, turned into my customer telling me he is the District Manager of large computer company. He asked me if I’d like to come work for him. I am employed there today. Yet it is more than a job. The position came with a brand new Fleet vehicle where all my personal gas is provided for, all the insurance, maintenance, a great income, full benefits and 4 weeks of paid vacation to start.
I will never doubt again, that what I desire, all I have to do is believe, not ask how, and imagine that my desires and dreams are magnetically drawn to me.
Oh yeah, I also have met the love of my life. Thank you God and thank you Rhonda for providing “The Secret” to everything I ever imagined possible in my life.
Forever Thankful!
