I was working in a school for 2 years as a teachers assistant.

I was hoping to get a teaching position in that school. A position opened up in May, I applied and it was down to me and one other person. That other person got the job.

I decided I would use the LOA to help me. I envisioned my principal calling me and saying there had been a mix up and it was really me that they meant to hire.

Over the summer, I received a phone call from my principal and knew what was happening as soon as I got on the phone. He said some changes have been made and there is another teaching position for me at the school if I want it!

I couldn’t believe it. It seemed so far fetched to have thoughts like I did, but I was desperate for this job and needed to try. And it worked!
