I have been not only learning about the Secret, but practicing it, and it is a huge part of my life. I learned a long time ago to listen to your feelings – the universe always provides and answers.

Anyways, a few months ago I started being interested in Billy Joel, for some reason. I took my mother to see his show, “Movin’ Out”. I said after the show, “I have to get his Greatest Hits…..” But of course I never did, I really don’t care all that much about his music.

For the next month, every time I turned on the radio, one of his songs were playing. No matter what station. So it kept on reminding me to purchase his Greatest Hits. So, after about 2-3 weeks, I purchased the CD. I listened to it in my car just once, and after that, I was obsessed. His music moved me, I can’t explain, it is strange how it made me feel. I brought it in my house and listened to it, I really never went anywhere with out it. Or listened to anything else. Finally when I decided I was being pathetic and it was time to listen to the radio, guess who was playing????? Mr. Joel!

I decided to go see him the next time he came to town, so I went on line and bought tickets that were for sale on line… from a “not so reliable source.” I knew I had to see him and I knew that for some reason he was drawing me to him, but I had no idea why. I decided to bring Mom to see his concert with me. I kept telling her that she would love his show, and we were in the front, sitting on his piano bench with him… Even though we weren’t, we were sitting about 30 rows back, floor seats. They were very good seats, and very expensive.

A week before the show, I put a picture of him on my Vision Board, just to be safe…. 🙂

The day of the show, Mom and I drove over two hours to another STATE to see him in concert. The concert hall was HUGE, seating 10,000 people or more. After a fabulous girls day, Mom and I went to the concert, we got in, and were seated. I was happy because remember, I purchased the tickets from someone who I didn’t trust, and I was afraid the tickets were not valid! I was really excited when I saw how great our seats were, row 30, floor seats! However, Mom leaned over to me and said, “I thought you said we had good seats, this whole time I was visualizing that we were going to sit in the front row.”

I couldn’t believe my ears… geeze, how do you like that? I couldn’t have purchased better tickets. Unless I spent about a month’s rent!

Anyways, I got up to go to purchase a souvenir, and I was approached by a man. He handed me tickets and told me he was with the show. “Billy wants you in front”.

I was stunned (I’m sure he told that to every pretty girl at the concert). Either way, I grabbed Mom and we went to the front row, where we were not only in the front row, we were right by his piano bench, about 5 feet away from the stage. I think they were the best seats there.

So, not only was the Universe working for ME, it was also responding to my mother’s visualization.

My mother and I have always been close, but we had such a fantastic time, I am so happy that I was responsible for one of Mom’s best birthday presents. (Did I mention that it was her birthday?)

I know that was a long story, but I made my point…
