Gratitude Is The Ultimate Tool.

IndiaJust another guy who found out that everything is a blessing.
I started to practice using a gratitude journal from the beginning of this year. I had left my laptop near the window a few days ago. It started to rain and my laptop was drenched in water. Even worse, my laptop was in sleep mode and left charging. When I returned and wiped the water off the laptop, it suddenly turned on. After a few seconds, the display flashed a few times and then went off. The charge indication was also off too.
I had an important exam in 10 days and all the materials and work were in that laptop. When I turned to the tech forums for help, the exact same events that had happened to others were described as ‘3 nails in the coffin’ as far as recovery for the laptop!
Then I remembered about this site and about how my gratitude journalling habit has rewired my brain to be positive. I was then compelled to read some positive stories of laptop repair on this site.
The stories spoke of speedy recovery within 10 to 15 days. I needed it to be faster. I started writing in my journal about how thankful I was for this problem and thankful for the speedy recovery and that my laptop is working like brand new tomorrow.
I had finished writing in my journal at 11:40 pm and when I went to sleep I remembered how calm I was while I had been draining the water and wiping my laptop, even though my exam depended on it working. I compared that to two years ago when I got an anxiety attack and panicked just because of a little dead spot on my phone touchscreen that didn’t let me finish my pattern! I went to sleep smiling and filled with gratitude.
Around 12:15 am, I woke up to drink some water and without thinking anything, I turned my laptop, attached the battery and pressed the power button.
Viola! The laptop worked perfectly. It was even cleaner than before!
I had asked for the Universe to get my laptop working tomorrow and it was punctual to the clock! The Universe woke me up and showed me that it was ready. It took under an hour while techies had estimated it taking a week to dry with a strong possibility of a fried motherboard anyway.
Though this is minuscule work for the Universe, it has multiplied my trust in gratitude. I hope this will make someone calm and smiling when they feel under pressure.
Magic dust to all. Realize that everything surrounding and inside us is a gift, believe in a omnipresent Universe, and be grateful.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
