Gratitude has a remarkable way of attracting opportunities into our lives. Something incredible just happened to me, and I felt compelled to share my story here.

About a year ago, I worked with a recruitment consultant who I will call Mr. X. He served as a middleman, helping me connect with clients and earning a commission for each assignment I completed. Unfortunately, during my last assignment, one of his clients voiced concerns about my work quality, and since then, Mr. X stopped contacting me. I assumed he would not want to endorse someone who had received complaints.

Afterward, I began searching for work elsewhere, but success was elusive. Despite practicing the law of attraction, nothing seemed to work, and I could not pinpoint where I was going wrong.

Anyway, every day, I check my professional social media apps for jobs, and very recently, I have been seeing Mr X’s posts very regularly. I do not know why or how, but all of a sudden and without any expectation, whenever I saw his posts, I would silently thank him, appreciating his past support, and then move on with my day without giving him any more thought.

Then, out of the blue, I just received a call from his office after nearly a year of silence! His colleague mentioned that Mr. X had personally recommended me for a new assignment. Hearing his name flooded me with memories of all the gratitude I had sent his way.

This experience reinforced my belief that gratitude really does work wonders.
