Gratitude Is A Way Of Life.

IndiaWe moved to a new country and I have started a new job. So happy and grateful to The Secret and Rhonda Bryne. Thank you.
We moved to a new country last November and I had started looking for a job. I got one in February but I said no to it as I was confident that I had another better job in which I already had 8 rounds of interviews completed. Then COVID 19 happened and all hiring came to a standstill!! I was heartbroken and I kept thinking of the job that I had said no to.
During the lockdown, I read and listened to The Secret and The Power. I finished them by the end of April. I started applying the fundamentals of visualization and gratitude every day. Though I won’t say that I mastered them, I did incorporate being thankful for everything that I had in my life like my family, my friends, and a great education. This was the best shot I had. I repeatedly said thank you for small things too, like finding a space in a car park.
During the lockdown, no new positions came up for me to apply to so I decided to gain experience by volunteering until after the COVID situation improved. I started working in a retail shop doing volunteer work. Meanwhile, I applied for the few jobs that I found.
Then The Secret happened!! The Universe worked its magic and I got an email saying that I had gotten rejected for that particular position but they had another position for which they found me suitable. I immediately applied for it and after 2 weeks of interviewing, I had landed my job in a foreign country. Yes! The job is with a government organization and the salary is also more than what I would have made with my previous job, the one I had said no to. The salary was in fact increased by the hiring manager who gave me more than my expected salary! The entire timespan of reading the books to starting the job had been 2 months. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I keep finding The Secret’s magic increasing because I was able to land a job during the COVID situation when hiring was in fact, almost frozen in most places.
Once again, thank you!
