“Gratitude Cleaning”

NetherlandsHappy & healthy thirty-something, manifesting my wildest dreams!
Hi!
Though I bought the book more than a year ago, I took it out of of its wrapping only two weeks ago and started reading it. It has honestly changed my life!
As I read the book, the thing that stuck with me most was gratitude. Being thankful for what you have and what you’ve asked for. I knew I needed a lesson in gratitude. Not that I’m an ungrateful person, but gratitude (and I’m ashamed to admit it) has not been a conscious, daily part of my life these past years.
Then I got the idea of giving my home a “gratitude cleaning”. Basically spring cleaning, but praising and giving thanks for every thing that I touched and cleaned. I thought, ‘What better way to feel thankful for what I have, than really taking care of it all?’ It took me the better part of a day, but I LOVED it! I felt so happy and blessed to live like this. After that it was easy to visualize my goals and feel sincere gratitude knowing that they were already mine the minute that I asked for them. It is such a powerful feeling of being loved and taken care of (in itself something to be thankful for).
My whole attitude has changed from being moody, tired, and irritable all the time, to happy and calm and loving the wonder of life! I wrote down all the things that I’m thankful for, and I read that list and give thanks every morning. At night I look at my vision board and give thanks, and before I go to sleep I give thanks for another beautiful day.
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
