Gratitude All Over The World
Today, I want to share a curious story about the concept of Gratitude. To begin with, I was entirely pissed off at the nasty attitude of my classmates.
Anyway, I was leaving the faculty at 11:10 a.m. when I saw a huge UNICEF advertisement on the street. It talked about the poverty which affected billions of people in the world, especially in India and Bangladesh.
For just one second, I couldn’t speak. “Why?” was the question that reflected on my mind. And I swore to myself and the Universe that I would do anything to help people around me, no matter the cost or the reason. I promised myself that I would fund a great NGO someday.
At the end of the day I watched on BBC the very best news of the day:
Malala has won the Nobel Peace Prize!
I couldn’t believe it. I was so proud of her, so I thanked the Universe for giving her this extraordinary honor.
Be grateful for what you have now. Maybe you won’t have it tomorrow. Be patient about your wishes, the Universe will make them come true, I promise. 😉
