Hello, my name is Missy and I am from New Hampshire. I first learned of The Secret in high school when a teacher gave me the DVD, and I later bought The Secret book. Following that, I went to Plymouth State University where they offered a freshman seminar course called “The Secret.” So cool how I can say I took a college class on The Secret. Anyways, I have used The Secret on and off since graduating in 2013 from college. However, I have always been a believer in positive thinking because it is so evident to me that when I’m positive in my thought process, in turn I’m attracting positive circumstances, people, and events into my life.

This is my first submission to this website. I read The Magic book not too long ago, and can I tell you it changed my life. I believe in God and that he is the centerpiece in my life. However, The Magic book reinforces the same principles of the Bible in practicing gratitude. I used to ask people if you could tell your younger self some advice what would it be? I am only 32, but I would tell myself to practice being grateful every day. We all think of things we are are grateful for from time to time. When we put this into a daily practice, suddenly we see the world from a different angle. I live a life where I am so grateful and appreciative for everything I have, and the current desires of my heart. Sometimes, I feel so grateful I hardly know what to do with myself it feels so darn good. The Magic book really taught me many ways of practicing gratitude, and it is by far the best thing I have ever done for myself. I literally figured out the key to a happy life and that is 200% being grateful on a daily basis. I know, like I know, like I know my name that my journey is filled with happiness, success, love and joy. How you ask? By practicing gratitude! You will wonder why you didn’t start years ago!
