How I Got The Things I Wanted.
Submitted by: RehanJamshed
PakistanI'm an 18 year old Muslim. I always believed in prayers and always knew that God would give me whatever I wanted if I asked in my prayers wholeheartedly.
I belong to a very poor family and we could only afford basic stuff like food, electricity, water, etc . The way our family lives is just simple we never buy anything extra because we don’t have the money to do so., In my 8th grade I was extremely poor I was constantly depressed as a kid because even the smallest things I wanted I couldn’t buy. My dad never had the money and I never asked him because I knew he wouldn’t have it. I was just suffering from the inside. I didn’t have nice clothes, no cellphone and no computer. I had nothing I wanted.
This constant depression and anxiety made me resort to praying. Now keep in mind praying is just the law of attraction and it’s clear and lets you describe how you want your experience to be. So I prayed to Allah with my whole heart. I kept praying for better clothes, a cellphone and a Pc. Now at that time I had friends who had Pc’s on which they played games. As they played games they kept talking about them the whole day and because of that more interest in videogames developed in me. But my current financial status completely neglected the fact that I did not have enough money to buy a Pc monitor and buying a whole Pc seemed unimaginable thing to me. Still at that time I was completely drawn to God and knew that he would answer me, what else did I have at the time? I was going through hell so I thought that I should give my complete attention to praying to God for what I wanted. I described in detail and with proper belief what I wanted even though I saw no way of getting it. I still believed and kept praying. I started praying at the end of my 8th grade and when I started my 9th grade I kept praying and praying. I received a certain kind of satisfaction from praying and I somehow knew that I was gonna get what I wanted.
Now one thing I want to tell you about myself is that I was a good student and had been standing first or second in my class since my childhood. One day my dad was talking to my uncle who lived in Germany. During the chat my uncle asked about about our family and while telling him about us, my dad told him how I again stood first in my class this year. He was impressed further when my dad told him that I had been keeping up my reputation since my childhood. After a few days he called and told my dad that he wanted to talk to me. My dad hadn’t told me about this and I had no idea why he would wanna talk to me. I picked up the phone and greeted him and he congratulated me on my success and asked me what I wanted. I wasn’t a kid who would ask others for help so I kept telling him that there was no need for him to send me anything and that I was happy with what I had now. That impressed him even more.
After few days my dad told me that my uncle had sent around 50000Rs, the equivalent to $500 US for me so that I could buy whatever I wanted. It was prize money for me and I was truly baffled by this. Out of every possibility, I had never imagined that I would get my money from another person and certainly not my uncle! Everyone knew that I was a good student but no one actually cared that much before, but now for some reason, my uncle was impressed. So I bought a Pc for 25,000Rs and gave the remaining amount to my parents and I was happy about that.
Later I wanted a cellphone. My belief in prayer was now strong and I knew I’d get whatever I wanted just by praying. So I started asking for a cellphone and this time it happened much more quickly than I had anticipated. My sister at that time was married and had two kids and lived far from us. I was always a kid who never asked anyone for anything but still God arranged everything for me. She had an LG f180L which wasn’t working according to her. She had sent it to a repair shop to get repaired but the shop owner said that it was completely dead. So she had to buy a new one and right after buying it she thought that she should give the old LG another try. So she sent it to another shop to get repaired and it turned out that there was a minor fault in a battery cable but other than that the phone was properly functional. She had her new phone now and didn’t know what to do with the older one so she thought that she should give that one to me. I didn’t even mention to her that I wanted a cellphone and still I got one! Once again the way it got it was unbelievable and totally unexpected. The same thing can be said for my college. I got a full scholarship program for two years and I am currently studying in one of the best colleges in my country for free!
I’m currently studying in 12th grade and I didn’t remember any of this until one day when I was reading about the law of attraction and I connected the dots. I was completely shocked how things turned out for me in the past so now I believe in this law whether you call it prayer or law of attraction. Optimism and hoping that you will get it and thinking that you already have it will give that thing to you no matter what. So keep believing in this law and don’t get disheartened. You will eventually get what you want, it may take some time but it will be yours.
