Got the number 9
Now, you will think, what is the number “9” I am talking about? So here starts my story
In India, the number 9 (in total or a single number) is considered to be the VIP number if its there on your car or bike’s number plate, and you need to pay a lump sum amount to get this number. Like everyone else, I was also eager to have the number 9 on my new bikes number plate.
The day when I went to book my new bike, I told the person in the showroom that I wanted a sum total of Number 9 on my bike’s number plate. He smiled at me and said, “Sir, as you must be aware, the number 9 is a VIP number and you have to pay Rs 10,000 – 15,000 to get that number.” Adding further he said me, “Sir, if you will be lucky enough, you will get the number you want, so dont spend too much for such kind of numbers.” Even before I could say anything to the showroom person, my father’s response was, “We dont need that number. Its ok for us if you provide us with any random number.”
Finally we booked our bike on 28th May 2010 without any special number request. From that very moment I requested the Almighty/Universe to give me the number 9 on my bike’s number plate. Every day I would give ample thanks to the Universe for giving me the Number 9.
The day arrived when we had to bring in our new bike from the showroom. I was so thrilled because I knew my wish would have been granted by the Universe. And yes, my dear friends, the showroom person told me that, “Sir, you are lucky enough to get the Number 9 in total.
And finally, my bike number plate reads this
Number “8892” i.e 8+8+9+2 = 27 = 2+7 = 9.
Thank you so much to the Universe.
