Got the Game I Wanted!
There’s a game I’ve been wanting for months now. I’d already pre-ordered a copy in English, but afterwards I found out it didn’t support dual-language (I also speak Japanese), so I wanted a copy of the game in Japanese as well. However, those copies sell for over $100, while the English copies are only $40, so I was disappointed and ready to give up.
One day, I was on eBay and came across the game I wanted, in Japanese. The auction ended the next day, and so far it was only $1.55! So I put it in my watch list. I had to work very early the next day, but it was very quiet at work, so I just kept thinking, the game is mine, over and over and saying thank you. I imagined myself opening the box and playing the game, too.
By the time I got off of work, there was only an hour or so left for the auction. I waited until about 15 minutes before the end and kept saying the game was mine. I was a little nervous, but I put in my bid, imagined it being mine, and waited until the auction was over. And I WON! I won the game for only $18! So I saved so much money! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
