So I am a believer in the law of attraction and The Secret but often horrible at letting it go.

So I am flying to Italy in less than a month, and I had my appointment scheduled at the visa center. There is a really nice premium lounge that my father and brother had told me I could opt in for at the center. It was a really nice place where I could sit down and feel completely relaxed and at the same time, I could get my visa process completed faster and more smoothly.

Naturally, I decided that I would go to the lounge when I got to the center. My brother had told me from his memory of his previous experience at the center, that the charge was around Rs. 1500. I knew I had that much cash on me, so I was not really worried about it. However, when I got to the lounge and had my process started, I got the sense that the charge was definitely going to be more than 1500 bucks. I asked the receptionist how much it actually was, and she said that I would be told at the end of the process.

Now, while I had my debit card with me, it was not of any use. That was because I had received a new card a month ago, and out of laziness, I had never set a new pin number for it. Now I panicked because I knew I would have to go to an ATM somewhere to set up the pin, as per the directions I had read online. But I couldn’t go because that would mean losing out on my appointment which was very difficult to get again quickly.

I got really worried and thought that I was going to be embarrassed at the premium lounge since the only accepted modes of payment were cash and card. After a few minutes of panicking, I closed my eyes and said to the Universe, “Please save me. Find a solution to this situation so that I can avoid embarrassment and pay the required amount.” And then I told myself that the Universe would find a way to fix this, so just relax. I began to engage in other activities.

After 20 to 30 minutes, I got an inner feeling to check the ATM pin process again. Without thinking about it, I did a Google search about how I could fix the pin by using e-banking. And voila! I found instructions that I had not come across a month ago. I could fix the ATM pin through e-banking! Now, this may be an obvious solution to most, but hey, I didn’t know about it!

So I fixed my ATM pin and paid the amount for the premium lounge, which was way more than Rs. 1500 by the way! The Universe saved me from getting embarrassed! And, I did not even have to go to an ATM, something that I had been too lazy to do, haha! Thank you for The Secret!
