Thank you to Rhonda Byrne and The Secret movie which I watch whenever I feel low to uplift my frequency.

I come from a conservative family in which my dad in the name of protecting me, never let me learn to ride a bike. However, I somehow with the help of friends, learned to at least ride a bicycle anyway.

Then I entered College where all of my friends had a scooty that they would use to commute from the hostel about 1 km away. I faced a little difficulty as I used to travel a lot more and my friends were not always able to take me to places. I could not ride one myself as I did not know how to.

Then during the second lockdown, I decided I would not take it anymore and I pestered my parents to enroll me in driving school. I chose my trainer with whom I felt comfortable. Days passed and I did not feel very confident in my driving skills. My instructor had booked a test slot without even asking me as he felt I could manage the test. However a day before my test, I was feeling all jittery since I had not driven my dad’s car in a long while. He was so busy and couldn’t accompany me to practice.

I was so frustrated with my situation and my dad’s unavailability. But then at that moment, I realized that I had to change my feeling frequency. I started watching my favorite yesteryear actor’s comical musical video. It was so funny that my focus was only on that good feeling. I wrote in my gratitude journal stating only the things that I had and loved.

In a few minutes’ time, I got a call from my instructor that my slot had been postponed by a week’s time. You can imagine my surprise. I was so elated that I now had extra time for more practice!

On the evening before my actual test, I visited my RTO ground for some practice. However, they would not normally let people in during the evening. But my luck had been so strong that I happened to meet a friendly senior official through the introduction of a pani puri vendor, both of whom I did not know before. This person let me practice and also showed me how to ace the test, all while the watchman shouting at me to get out of that place, LOL! Trust me, I had never done any so adventurous in my life before, and all alone too!

And yes I got my Driver’s License! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to The Secret and thank you for The Power.
