Good Words Always Work.

KurdistanI am Zhino, a UI/UX designer. I am a Muslim girl.
What I am talking about happened a year ago. I live with my family, my mother, father, and brother. My mother has heart disease, diabetes, and bad kidneys. With all these illnesses, we had a very bad accident a year ago when my mother broke both her arms.
We were in a very bad situation, especially my father and I. You know, a mother is everything to the family. Thankfully, the operation was successful, but none of us believed that my mother would be able to get up and do her job easily again. I always prayed and believed. When I talked to my father, he didn’t believe she would be healed again. My father always cried, and whenever he talked to her, he spoke in a way that suggested she would not be getting better.
Whenever I talked to my mother, I encouraged her to believe she would heal herself. I always told her to imagine herself healed. She often said she would not be fine, but I constantly changed the sentence to ‘You will definitely be fine, and you’ll be back with us again.’ This really affected her, and now my mother is thankfully very well.
Please, when you talk to a patient, let your words be positive if you want them to recover. Yes, always be careful about what you are saying.
