Good things come to those who wait.

It’s really easy to want to give up on something when you don’t get it right away. But after what happened to me, I’ve learned better than that.
There’s this music festival that was coming to Miami that I really wanted to go to but I didn’t feel like paying for it. So I entered this contest over facebook to win a pair of tickets. All you had to do was post frequently onto their page a certain phrase. I was so sure I was going to win because I was the only one competing for Miami tickets.
But then another girl comes along and starts posting non-stop. It was getting really annoying to have to keep up with her. But that didn’t stop me. I had my mind set on winning and would imagine exactly how happy I’d feel when seeing that I had won.
But I didn’t win the tickets so I had to end up buying them.
I decided to enter other ticket giveaways just because. Truth is, I had completely forgotten that I even entered.
Two weeks later, the event had to be post-poned due to a hurricane warning. Ticketmaster was giving refunds until the new date was announced.
I got an e-mail from one of the ticket giveaways saying that I had won not only a pair of tickets, but that I’d also get to meet the artists who were headlining the show!
I was able to get my refund just in time.
So now I’m not only going for free, but I’m also meeting some of the best DJs out there!
Patience is definitely a virtue. I got even better than I had expected!
