What Goes Around Comes Around.
I had spent a frustrating and unsuccessful morning at the Indian Embassy trying to get Visas for my clients. I was just feeling low because of a wasted morning and wasted money.
I was on my way back home, wallowing in my misery when I saw a homeless man with his dog just dozing in the heat. I thought to myself ‘Yes I had lost a lot of money and time on this today but at least it isn’t life changing for me. I can still pay my rent, I can still afford to have dinner with my friends and I have a generous fiance who would think nothing of supporting me financially if I needed it.’
I immediately marched myself up to WHSMITH and to buy the £3.99 meal deal for this homeless man. I gave it him, told him to take care of himself and said a quiet prayer for him on the train.
After that experience, money seemed to fly at me. I won £3.20 in the lottery and found 15 pence on the floor. Plus all my groceries were on sale so I saved about £5.00. All in all, it felt good to be reminded that money is my friend and the Universe always provides!
