From The Streets To The Elite!

New york, USAI'm 23 and my passion is boxing.
When I was 17 I found out what my passion is, boxing. I started training but I never really believed that I could make a job out of it, I did it for fun. Then when times went rough and I lost my house, I went single and had to sleep at my friend’s house who did not want to keep me there forever, so after 3 weeks he asked me to move somewhere else. The streets. I never thought this could happen to me and I got depressed.
Then one day my friend came by again and gave me a book, that book was The Secret. I started to notice a lot of the things it mentioned applied to my life and so I started trying to change my life step by step. I asked my friend to supply me with some decent clothes and that I would pay him back when I had the money. With these clothes I had a better chance of being hired. So when I went to a small store I was hired, but for less then minimum wage which was $4 an hour.
I heard a speech by a man called Les Brown and I was extremely motivated. I will never forget these words: “No matter how bad it is or how bad it gets, I’m going to make it.”. I started getting back to boxing and got a few amateur boxing matches that my coach got me. I won all of them and I believe The Secret helped me with this. After 6 fights I got a semi-pro fight and earned $500. Not a lot but I did not have a lot so it was enough for me. After that, I got a call from my coach and he said that he fixed a professional fight for me, at the WBO. After this fight I earned $20,000 and this was not long ago!
I now believe that everything is possible as long as you truly believe it is. This is my story and I will continue to make it better.
