From the ground up. Just climb!

New Orleans, LAI am a local Cherokee guy with big dreams. I like adventure, to travel, to dream, to climb!
My story doesn’t start out good My childhood sucked. My teenage life was even worse. But we won’t get into that. I had a lot of trouble with my focus on the grimes of my past. Most of my past had to do with hatred towards me for being Native American. Though most of that went away when I entered my 20s, I was still focused on it. Of course I had other issues that were not racial… I had developed issues like drinking and drugs. I got addicted to ADD drugs. Then when I quit that, I turned to alcohol.
About two years ago, my favourite activity was drinking 40 ounce Old English and watching negative music videos on Youtube with heavy depression. Part of that was due to the end of a sketchy relationship.
September 09, I hit rock bottom. Then I asked my mother for The Secret DVD.
First, I stopped drinking. Then I watched The Secret every day until I got every little detail. I received furniture that I needed, a new DVD player, cable, stopped smoking cigarettes, illegal marijuana, stopped eating things with MSG, stopped drinking things with aspertame. I cleaned out all the CRAP in my life!!!! Then later, I got the laptop I always wanted.
Now I have bigger dreams. I want a house in Denver and Canada, I want to go to the 2012 Olympics, and I want to summit Mount Everest. I believe in my dreams and myself.
I have a philosophy: To summit is to find the treasure you seek, but the journey is the treasure you experience. If you seek the journey then you’ll never run out of treasure. X mark’s the spot. You are the X. What’s your mark?
