First I would like to begin by saying thank you to Rhonda Byrne and her team for sharing The Secret with the world. I first learnt of the law of attraction back in high school in third form. At that time my grades were not up to par. I was struggling in all my relationships and was generally very unhappy. So much so that I began contemplating suicide. I was forced to repeat that level and this shattered me completely. Seeing the few people I knew progress and leave me? I transferred schools and after another two years, I sat for my national exams which I did rather poorly in. My father, owing to financial issues at that time, began to take his frustrations out on my brother and I. The verbal abuse was intense. After awhile I accepted and resigned to my fate. I was doomed to a life with no success or love.

It was at this point that I started to re-read The Power and also, Hero. Bit by bit my confidence returned. My family decided they would each support me and the next week I was scouting for a college. I enrolled in the best film and theatre programme in the country, though first for a certificate. I met a great group of friends and two semesters later, graduated with the equivalent of a first class honors certificate. The only one in a class of thirty three with this feat. While I  am yet to manifest my soulmate I have nothing but absolute faith that our paths will soon cross.
