After reading the Secret book was the only time I realized that all my wishes has come true… and one of them was how I got married to my perfect guy.

When I was about 8-9 years old, I loved to hang out with my uncles and they have a friend named Rey. My grandama sort of adopted him since he became orphaned at the age of eleven. And so he was always around if he was not with his siblings in Manila. Every time he comes home to my grandma’s, I’d make sure that I’d be there to see him. I used to follow him around wherever he’d go and it will bother my uncles except him. He was so patient,and protective; he always kept up with my questions and always has a kind word for me.

When I was about 14 yrs old he stopped coming to our town.I was yearning to see his face and wanted to know what happened to him.I told my sister that “I’ll marry that guy when I grow up!”I wished so hard for this…

When I was 30, brokenhearted and really in a bad situation,I received a birthday card from him.Out of nowhere..so many years has passed..he still remembered our address! And I just came back from Italy and he was based in the U.K. He was not even sure if we still lived there and he just sent me a card! I texted him on the numbers enclosed in the card and the rest was history…we are now happily married with two lovely kids.

I am so grateful that the universe has conspired to get us married without me knowing it but just that fervent wish I did….After all these years which has matured him… and me totally grown up, we are together and very much in love!
