Friends? What Friends? Ahhh, Those Friends!
Ever since I was young I have struggled with making good friends. I would always make the ‘wrong’ friends who would turn their backs on me and desert me. My mum had been working tirelessly since I was young to find a way to help me, and one day she found The Secret DVD. She watched it herself and found it inspiring, so she showed it to me.
I watched it and didn’t really understand it as I was only 12 at the time. My mum asked me what I thought and I said it was alright, but mentally I just discarded it like I did with all of my mum’s other ideas.
A few months later for Sinterklaas (a Dutch present giving thing) I got a book called The Secret To Teen Power. I read it and then re-read it and started to understand exactly what my mum meant by showing me The Secret DVD.
The book inspired me to change the way I think, in hope of changing my life around. After the holidays, I went back to school and I made an effort to feel good about myself.
Because I am so stubborn it took a few times of rereading the amazing book by Paul Harrington and reading The Secret by Rhonda Byrne herself for me to fully get the grasp of how it works. Now I have four wonderful friends that I am incredibly close to and loads of other friends also.
Thank you so much Rhonda and Paul, you have both changed my life!
The best advice I could give is that you never give up, the law of attraction will never fail you! Also, it is a lot easier if you learn how to be truly grateful because then your wish is the universe’s command, literally!
