Friday the 13th
Why fear Friday the 13th?? Well, like many other people I was also very superstitious about Friday the 13th since my childhood when I heard stories. My fear became even worse when I went to the USA and saw that there was no 13th floor in buildings, and soon each Friday the 13th proved to be very scary and bad for me. I got rejected for my visa, I fought with my friends, I almost met with an accident, etc. All on every separate 13th Fridays. But the worst thing that happened was a bomb blast in one of the movie halls near my house on a 13th Friday.
But yesterday was a 13th Friday, and I had an exam, and also my first ever design meeting with an architect (as I was a part time interior designer and now planning to work full time). I was fearing this day for a week, but then I was also applying The Secret for a while now and was amazed at how it worked.
So with all positive thoughts and smiles, and loads of gratitude, I went along with the day. And this is how my day went: I went on to give the exam (my last exam to graduate), which went perfectly, and as far the meeting was concerned, it was shocking. I was asked to design bathrooms for a hotel before the meeting, and the architect was so impressed with my portfolio that he offered me the opportunity to design the entire interiors of his hotel, along with two other hotels which he was about to start soon. I was so amazed and thrilled. My last day of college and I have work already. I was amazed. How could a 13th Friday be lucky? It was supposed to be unlucky. But then I realized it’s all about thinking. It was my mindset that ‘this day is unlucky,’ and that’s how I attracted all the incidences. And now, because of a shift of thoughts, I attracted everything positive.
And finally I updated my Facebook status as:
“Very lucky 13th Friday, thank you God.”
And now thank you Rhonda, you do not have any idea what you have done for me. I am so happy since yesterday that I am thanking each thing I see and every person I meet without any reason, just because now I know “The Secret.”
