Like so many who have read The Secret and recognized how it worked in their life, I have too. My story is a little different than the ones I have read here about manifesting a life partner.

I was looking for my ‘Twin Flame’ and I was pretty sure I had found him. Although he did lots of things that I found distasteful, I was still sure that he was the one. Red flags were flashing, warning me that he was not really ‘the one’ but I chose to file those warnings away and move forward with our relationship. I just lived with those things about him that made my stomach grumble. I tried to be me but I was losing who I was because deep down, I did not respect who he was.

My father once told me that if things are not working for one person in a relationship, then 9 times out of 10, it probably is not working for the other person either. He also said to be careful of what you ask for. And true to my Poppy’s words, our relationship wasn’t working for him either and we broke up.

I was devastated. It felt like the end of the world for me. I wanted him back and I wanted it bad. So I pulled out The Secret and read it from cover to cover, day after day. I fell asleep to the CD of The Secret every night. I started writing out exactly what I wanted by listing the characteristics that I liked most about him and the changes in his personality that I wanted to see. I didn’t want him to come back into my life as he was. I wanted him to come back to me as a new person.

Here is the real deal. Everyone has the gift of “free will” and “free will” rules. We were not a good life match. He was wise enough to see what I wouldn’t. His free will choice was to move on, and for that, I am very grateful. I realize now that with him I would have lived a very miserable life.

Like it or not, the law of attraction is always working. I continued to write out clearly what I wanted as I worked on myself. This I know for sure, everything is in divine order. I get goosebumps at the thought of how swiftly and accurately the law of attraction worked its mojo.

In a matter of only a few months, a tall handsomely stylish, sophisticated but cool man, who had all the good characteristics that I liked in my ex and none of his irritating character flaws, showed up in my life. He literally swept me off my feet. It felt like he had been there just waiting for me to appear. From the first time we connected, my life has been an amazing adventure filled with lots of love. He has been and is the love of my life. We have been together for three years and we were married in the middle of the 2020 craziness.

My focus and ‘free will choice’ has been and still is today, to live a life of joy, filled with love, happiness, passion, and family. Ceasar, the man of my dreams, has been all that to me and so much more. I am so happy that the law of attraction brought us together.
