Four Years And My Life Is Amazing.
Submitted by: Carlee
Melbourne, AUSA 20 year old transformed over 4 years of life with The Law of Attraction.
4 years ago, I discovered The Secret.
It was given to my family from a family friend, and naturally they threw it aside. At the time, I was in high school, and severely depressed, so naturally I was eager to try anything and everything.
I watched the movie several times, read The Science Of Getting Rich, Think And Grow Rich and began a massive Internet journey of absorbing everything possible about The Law of Attraction.
I had nothing to lose, so I thought, “why not give it a go?”
I decided what I wanted and where I wanted to be in life.
Materialistically, I wished upon a white Range Rover, a Macbook, some DJ turntables (music was the other thing that got me out of depression, I am just so in love and passionate about it), and just small little items. I also wished for friends, as I basically had none at the time, the famous “DJ party life”, (seems silly now ha ha), weight loss, intelligence, and clear skin.
I know, it seems like so much, but I decided I wanted to be AMAZING, instead of average, because the law of attraction told me I could be.
I bought a nice scrapbook and listed things I wanted in life, goals and dreams, plans, pictures, quotes, future tense gratitude notes etc. I made vision boards and printed quotes and put them on my mirror. And I forced myself to constantly think about all these things ALL the time. I basically had to become obsessed and cocky about all the things I wanted to be. Obviously I tried not to show this to other people, but those who I did tell about my dreams and goals tried to shut me down completely. “People like us don’t get things like Range Rovers, EVER” said some kids in my chemistry class. I went to a low socio-economic public school. But I kept believing in what I wanted.
I probably didn’t notice anything massive for about 2 years. Also, after a year of thinking about success, it became a natural thought, not forced, and thus I barley noticed I thought about it all the time.
It was then that I found the scrapbook at the bottom of my drawer. I must have put it away for some reason. I read through all the things I had listed and was completely shocked.
So cheesy like the movie right? But maybe I was even more shocked because it was exactly like the movie scene. I literally ticked off 90% of the things. I either had exactly the item or better, or I could see myself easing toward the goal.
I got the second highest mark of my cohort on graduating high school and got in with ease to my dream college.
My dad spotted a sort of education rebate scheme and I was able to buy a Macbook at half the price!
Somewhere along the line my skin had cleared and I had become a gym junkie, so my self confidence has sky rocketed.
No joke, I had the exact items of clothing I wanted. Either I had paid really cheaply for them or they were given to me.
I had the top of the range DJ equipment and was always being asked to play at parties. I did actually buy the equipment myself, but it was for 1/3 of the price from a rich kid who got them as an unwanted present!
Because I was going to all these parties and my confidence was higher, I became more sociable and was able to hold interesting conversations with people. So when I arrived at college, people actually liked me and wanted to be my friend! I can tell you now that I have the GREATEST friends in the entire world! All like-minded, intelligent but also sociable.
There were a lot of other things too, but that would take too long to list.
I don’t have a Range Rover yet, but I’ve gone from a place where luxury cars basically don’t exist to a place where almost 1 in every 3 of my friend’s parents owns a Range Rover. I am studying the same degree as these friends and it’s what their parents studied also. They are always giving me advice based on their own success whenever I visit their hometown.
I know the latter paragraphs make me seem exceptionally materialistic, so I should tell you about myself spiritually as well. Because of all this success and realizing that The Law of Attraction actually works, I’ve become so excited for life.
I don’t do anything I don’t want to do and am naturally positive most times, instead of forced positive thinking. I feel whole and at peace. I know I can literally do anything, all I have to choose is what I want to do. I feel as though I have found the meaning of life.
You just have to enjoy the 100 or so years you have got to the max with all these amazing things the world can offer us. I feel I am very near to my life dreams and successes at only age 20, so I am pretty excited to be able to help others understand this for the rest of my life.
