The Secret was my answer to a better life. I practised it and gave up on it but what I had not noticed was that I had received all that I asked for.

It all began two years ago. I was overweight, broke and my girlfriend of four years decided to leave me for a new upgrade. At this stage I was so miserable that I was willing to use anything to take my mind off my situation and I luckily found The Secret book that my ex girlfriend, the one who left me for an upgrade, had left at my house. I read it, I practiced it, I lived it.

I had then applied The Secret to every second of my daily thoughts and it began to show. I got a job, I lost my weight and I started to attract the attention of females. Even my ex could not help but notice. But this was not enough for me, the more I got from The Secret, the more I wanted.

I was using public transport at the time and working in a retail store that was not paying me enough money. So I decided to close my eyes one day on the train and ask for an Audi German Saloon car and to work in the amazing offices I used to walk past every day. I did this for months and months but nothing came from it. I had lost my job. I went down an incredibly strange journey of bad luck and at that point I had forgotten about The Secret.

I am now writing this as I am sitting in my Audi German Saloon car that is parked at the beautiful offices that I now work at. The very ones that I had asked for two years ago!

I now realise that losing my job forced me to look elsewhere and meet new people. In the long run it all gave me the experience I needed to get the job I wanted and to afford the car I asked for. I also realised that the only way for me to get what I wanted was that I needed some doors to close to open new ones.

At first it may seem like you are getting the opposite of what you asked for but if you believe, have faith and have trust that what is happening will lead to what you have asked for, then it will all work out as the Universe is working it’s magic to get you what you have asked for. The Universe is just working through your own point of least resistance.

I am still mastering The Secret and have a lot to learn but I will keep practicing it every day. I know that this is something that works whether you are an atheist or christian or whatever you may be. We are all connected to something amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! Just believe and have faith.
