So I started learning about The Secret nearly a year ago after I hit a dark place in my life due to a breakup. My best friend took me for some food one night and told me about the greatest book ever written called The Secret.  He knew that it hit me hard but I told him that I struggle with reading. He said that he does too but it also comes as an audiobook.

So that night I went home, put my earphones in, and gave it a try. I was amazed by it! So every night before I went to bed I would listen to the audio. But I was still suffering from heartache and rejection and now I had a fear of losing my dad due to an illness. I started going down the wrong path of partying.

Then one night I got on the back of a friend’s bike with no helmet on. We were only going 100 yards down the road when my friend decided to keep going past my house and lost control of the bike. We went through a drystone wall at 60 mph! How we survived I do not know! I died twice! Once on at the scene and then in the hospital the next day. I had a major operation on my left leg as it was in bits. My thigh bone had snapped and came through my skin. I also totally shattered my kneecap, snapped my shin bone, and broke my ankle.

So once I became more aware, a doctor came in and told me the good news and the bad news too. The good news was that I was still alive but the bad news was that I would not be working in construction again. I was heartbroken! Then straight away, I thought about what I would do.

Then it came to me! When I had ‘died’ the second time in the hospital, I saw my mum who had passed 5 years ago. She told me it was time to start my dream job now. That dream job was to have my own clothing brand. So there I was in the hospital on loads of drugs but in my mind, I was starting my brand.

Once they got me off the meds I went straight to work. I knew exactly what I had to do! The accident was on the 14th of May in 2021 and about 5 months later and in between, I got The Secret book and I finished it. It has helped me to overcome so much! Even reading books!

I now am the CEO of ER Clothing, LTD, and I am currently learning how to walk again! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!
