“Others call it a dream, we call it reality”. This is our theme in Department of Network and Technical Services (DNTS) where I have been working as IT Staff for a year starting in May 10, 2014.

It was started when I graduated in my 2 year course ACT (Associate in Computer Technology) in year 2014 and decided to continue to my Bachelors degree.

I never expected that I would be one of the trainees who would get hired in the department.

Time goes by, and I’m very much happy staying in the DNTS, it is like being on cloud nine for me. We in the department work hand in hand to fulfill our daily task. We unite, collaborate, and work hard, not just for the sake of the job but because we fall in love with our job. For all the tears, happiness, and challenges that we’ve been through we still work as one, a family that you must trust and respect. Being part of the department is not easy, but accepting all challenges is the best way to fulfill all our goals. Having short term goals and long term goals in life is what we do when we bring the name of the department.

When I read The Secret it inspires me and motivates me, just like the Department of Network and Technical Services does. I truly believe in myself that I can. Whatever my mind and heart says, I believe in it and allow the universe to be in me. Sometimes I thought of giving up thinking that would be best but I didn’t. I was being a coward from all my fears and then I realized I must conquer things in my life, not just for me but for the others who are a part of my journey.

Wherever I go in my journey, I will treasure all the wonderful moments in the DNTS. I will always be part of it because you are my family.
