First Try = First Class

Anchorage, AKI am in the construction industry, primarily the fire & gas side of the oil fields on the North Slope of Alaska. I have a great family with me in Alaska. I also have an extended family across the U.S, and I am very impressed with the results I have personally experienced from putting the lessons learned thus far from the book The Secret.
I just finished listening to the 3rd CD of the Audio Book “The Secret”. I was working on the North Slope of Alaska, and it was time to come home. The normal procedure is to get to the airport and it is a first come-first serve ticketing arrangement. I decided to put what I have learned to use, and started to give “thanks” for my first class seat on the flight home. I was dropped off at the airport and I stood in line. When my turn came up I was asked for a window or aisle seat, I said, “Aisle, thank you,” and the attendant gave me my boarding pass. The boarding pass said that I had seat 1-D, which is in the first class section. Not only did I have a first class seat, but I had the whole fist row to myself. No one sat in the first 3 other seats, and the plane was full behind me.
After this test I decided to take it a step further. I gave thanks for arriving early. We landed 20 minutes earlier than scheduled, but we did not leave any earlier. So I decided to take it one step further, and after we landed in Anchorage I gave thanks for having my luggage ready when I got to the turnstile, and when I arrived it started to turn and luggage came out, and my bag was the tenth one out. This was too good to be true!
