Finding My Keys !
The other day I lost my keys on the way to work. I used them to lock my door and by the time I had travelled by public transport to work, I discovered when I got there that I had lost them.
I realised I must have dropped them or they fell out my bag. They could have literally been anywhere. These keys had all my house keys for all the doors In my house including porch and garage, car keys and a few key rings which had meaning to me. So I needed to get them back.
All day at work I used the practise of gratitude to imagine having my keys back. I imagined and felt in my heart how very grateful I would be to get my keys back. I imagined me holding them in my hands, every detail of them and how I felt when I received them.
A couple of days passed when I was on my way to the station again and on my walk I read a handwritten note posted on the tree. It read ‘keys found please knock at number 40’.
I immediately thought it could be mine so I knocked and it was!!
The lady had found them outside her house and put up the sign in hope that the owner would see it and find them.
I was very grateful for how kind she had been by keeping them and making the sign and I felt so relieved to get my keys back.
