I am a very artistic person. I’ve always had a passion for photography and art, drawing, painting but most of all, singing. I love to sing and I sing everyday, all the time. I sing for my friends and with my friends.

There’s also this guy who’s one of my best friends now. His name’s Zack. He has the long skater hair and skates and even sings… Just like me! He and one of my friends, Garrett, are in a band together. When I heard about their band, I was so jealous. They’ve been played on the radio and booked at the Norva and everything. Anyway, I managed to turn my jealously into a want, and turned to The Secret to claim a band of my own. I wrote down and recited everyday how happy I was that I was in a band with Zack and Garrett and I even came up with a name for our band.

After a few weeks, I was starting to lose hope; when one day, Zack had invited me to his 16th birthday party to spend the night with some other people. Of course I accepted and later that night, Garrett, Zack, and I were all talking about how their band was doing. And apparently it was just spiraling downward. Later on that night Garrett played guitar and asked me to sing, after I did everyone told me how great I was. It made me feel amazing. Zack and Garrett jokingly said, “All three of us should make a band in Zack’s garage instead.” We all laughed.

About a week or so after the party, Zack saw me at lunch and talked to me seriously about making a band with Garrett and myself. The next day, we all came to an agreement and called ourselves an official band. We even named it the name I had thought of before the party!
