After reading both The Secret and The Power I decided to use the teachings in my life. I was able to secure a job I love, get my driver’s licence and buy a good car.

Then in December last year, I wrote a list of the qualities I want in my soul-mate. With all of my heart I believed he was also out there looking for me.

I had been a part time student in one university in our city. However, when I graduated and wanted to study further, I was not accepted. I decided to apply to another local university where I was accepted immediately without any hesitation.

I kept on thanking God for all my blessings and for my loving husband and beautiful marriage as if I had these things already.

In my list I had written that I wanted a man who is highly educated, can be my best friend, cooks, loves cuddles, who would tell me he loves me everyday, who is a certain age, intelligent, responsible, loves God, be a certain weight, etc.

For a whole year I had been friends with an interesting guy on Facebook. I only found out that he was a lecturer at the university that had accepted me when he expressed a romantic interest in me in one of our chats.

He asked to meet me and it was magic at first sight. The attraction was intense. When I looked at his face, I just knew he is the one I have been looking for. He is meant for me. It was like we had always known each other. Afterwards I found out that for a whole year, he had been trying to tell me how he loves and wants me, but I had not been paying attention and completely ignored him.

I was later shocked to find out that he has each and every quality I wrote down last December. He cooks, he loves cuddles, he is highly educated, he is romantic, responsible etc.

So I thought, what are the chances of meeting someone who has the exact qualities I wrote down?

I now understand why my previous university did not accept me for my third degree. The Universe was making it easier for us to meet by making sure I end up studying where my man works.

I’ve also realized now that since I wrote my list, he has been communicating with me. Now I understand my request was granted immediately when I made it in December last year.

When I join the dots to how we are finally a happily in love couple, I realize that the the Universe conspired cleverly to make my wish come true.
