Farewell To Negativity
Submitted by: Mansi
DelhiI am a simple and straight forward girl. Besides that, I am hard working and compassionate.
Well, before starting my story I would really like to thank three people:
1. Rhonda Byrne, for such an inspiring and amazing book.
2. Kritika, a friend who insisted to me that I read this book.
3. Lakshit, a friend who helped me out to get through a negative life.
I am an ordinary girl pursuing graduation in interior design. Today I am living with positive thoughts and no regrets of yesterday. And all this happened after reading The Secret.
This book really transformed me and my life. I used to be an aggressive, reserved person who was compassionate but egoistic, too. I was hard working living an aimless life until school days.
I decided to do law and I don’t know why, so gave entrance exams for the same but couldn’t succeed. My ego was hurt so I began to study to apply next year again. Of course, my year was wasted, but one thing was clear, I did not want to live a boring life.
One of my good friends, Diksha, made me realize that law is not my cup of tea and I really adore her as she was the one standing by me even through the worst of times. Then I read The Secret and got inspired. I dropped the idea of law and gave time to myself and started with interior designing and I love doing that.
In between that year Lakshit, my Facebook friend and me had good connections. I don’t know what made me special for him. He is an optimistic guy and concerned for me, that’s why he wanted me to change. He was like a mirror who introduced myself to me. According to him, I was an understandable, misunderstood girl.
The Secret and him really altered my life in a positive way. I feel blessed for having him and Diksha in my life.
Today I aspire to be a designer. My life has got the right path. I think positive for the good results and negative only for the safe side.
PS. Accept things the way they are and be happy with whatever good you have because everybody simply deserves it.
