Fantasies of significant others

I can truly say that I began using The Law of Attraction before being introduced to The Secret. The problem for me was that I only used it in the context of attracting relationships and relationship situations. Now, I am trying to use The Secret for prosperity and finances, which is all together a new project for me. However, I write now with the hope of inspiring others who are searching or seeking help in their relationships. I have many examples of The Law of Attraction in action in relationships, but I am confining myself to the 3 below.
Example 1: While in college, I fell in love head over heels with this adorable, smart, striking young man. We became friends and developed a very deep bond, but we never actually dated. I remember telling him, all my friends, my journal – anyone who would listen – that I was the perfect woman for him and that one day he would realize it and want to be with me and it would be too late. My friends would always respond with a sarcastic ‘sure, right.’ Well, later while in my graduate schooling for my master’s and doctorate, he did propose… THREE times. And, of course, it was too late. But the image I had all those years came true. My thoughts became things. It was exactly how I had envisioned it.
Example 2: While in my graduate schooling, I met this guy who was like a sister soul. We shared similar traits in everything. I immediately developed an intense deep crush on him. However, he had a girlfriend at the time, and I kept things on a friend level out of respect for their relationship. But, in my heart, I was falling in love with him and, in my head, I had a fantasy: one day he would approach me and tell me that they had ended things and then he and I would be together. Now, in my head, this fantasy was scripted out entirely… the words, the sounds in the background, even the lighting. Well, one day it happened. EXACTLY LIKE I HAD ENVISIONED. At first it weirded me out a little, because it was like someone had flipped open my skull, taken out the fantasy, and given him the script of what to say, when to smile, how to move, everything, exactly everything. My thoughts became things. It was exactly how I had scripted it out in my head.
Example 3: Now, I am currently married to the most amazing man for me. He is handsome, strong enough to be gentle, wise enough to be kind, simply a miracle of a human being. But, I never envisioned him… at least in appearance. After many trial runs with different guys and dating, I sort of gave up. Rather than focus on how someone looks or how I wanted the other person to be, I instead focused on the qualities I wanted the other person to have and how I wanted the RELATIONSHIP to be. I made a journal and cut out different clips and snippets from magazines that represented the qualities I desired, and I glued them into a journal. Whenever I was lonely, I pulled the journal out and focused on all those qualities and visualized my life with someone with those qualities. And, I knew like I knew like I knew that such a relationship was on its way to me.
Within a year, I met my husband. And, although he physically wasn’t my ‘type’, I fell for him instantly and knew that we would be together for a long time. I found that journal after reading The Secret and was amazed to see that everything in my little relationship journal wish book had come true… and all in the form of my amazing husband.
So, for all those out there who are yearning and dreaming for a significant other, I am here to tell you that THE LAW OF ATTRACTION ABSOLUTELY WORKS in the realm of relationships. It works to improve relationships with family and friends. It works to bring about specific situations and actions with dear ones. And, it can work to find the relationship that best fits who you are and where you want to go.
