Hello All!

I really do hope my story here gives all of you out there a reason to believe and know that you can have EVERYTHING you could possibly want!

This time a year ago, I was depressed. I was living all by myself and trying to find a job that would make me happy. I had a degree but could not find a job that was even close to it. Day after day, I would pray to get a job in the financial services industry. I went to agencies, applied for jobs online but nothing was really happening. There was one bank in particular that I was really hoping to get a job with. I had just read the Secret and began to start using it.

Day in and out, I would only think of getting a job with that particular bank. I talked about it all the time and you know what? Within a month, I got the job!

But here’s the thing, all that time, I was only thinking of the company and focusing on getting in. I never really focused on the kind of job that I wanted. So once I started working there, things started going downhill again.

I disliked the job. It stressed me out and I knew then that that was not what I wanted to be doing. I started applying for jobs again but nothing seemed to materialize. I started losing hope yet again. I just let myself sink deeper and deeper.

Then one morning, I woke up and said, “enough is enough.” I started following the principles of the Secret yet again. I started feeling better. This time around, I knew exactly what I wanted and the kind of job I was looking for. I started focusing on it and in no time at all, I got called by an agency for a position within one of the biggest banking corporations in the UK! I was amazed!

I went for the interview and in 2 weeks’ time, I was offered the position. It all happened so quickly that I could barely believe it myself!

Today,I am working for one of the best banks in the world in a role that challenges me and makes me so happy. I never moan about my job and literally sing my way to work each day! I am so very happy and grateful that I can barely express myself. As much as I disliked my old job, I was always grateful that I had it and that I learned so much there (and I could also pay my bills!!)

All it takes is faith. You have to just KNOW that you will get there. Be grateful for what you have in your life now and the rest will follow. Know what you want and ask for it and it WILL come to you. There is no two ways about the law – I know that for certain.

So if you do feel a little let down and don’t see what you want coming to you, just close your eyes and tell yourself that it WILL happen – because it absolutely will. Take my word for it. As Journey sing in their song,’Dont stop believing…hold onto that feeling…’
